Some of you have asked me what I have been up to since I had quit teaching. Well, I am now giving private English tuition to students in the afternoons and evenings. The mornings are spent mostly lazing around (yea!), exercising, exploring places on my bike, preparing lessons and meeting up with friends and ex-colleagues for lunches. In short, life has never been better. How about the monetary sacrifice? Right now I have a lot more control over my life and can take trips as and when I choose (especially NOT during the peak holiday season when you have to pay the holiday surchage-yes that is disgusting!), the sacrifice is well worth it. Besides, money can always be earned back and should never rule one's life.
3 to 11 Sep - A friend contacted me after 3 years and the chat ended up in a trekking trip to Tibet as we both love the outdoors.
